Zero-Proof, All the Fun
I no longer drink, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a sucker for a good cocktail. It was necessary for me to find some good mocktail recipes to quench my thirst for a fruity drink every now and then. Here are my 3 go-to recipes and dare I say they are way better than any cocktail I’ve ever had in a bar or restaurant.
Summer Electrolyte Mixed Drink
¾ or 1 ½ Cups Coconut Water
¾ or 1 ½ Cups Pineapple Juice
¼ or ½ Cup Sparkling Water
¼ or ½ Lime
Pinch of Salt
If you want a larger beverage like the one pictured, use the greater measurements. If you want to fill a regular 12-16 oz glass, follow the smaller measurements.
Combine all ingredients in a glass filled with ice and stir.
Strawberry & Basil Lemonade
1 ½ Cups Water
½ Lemon
4-6 Strawberries
5 Basil Leaves
1-2 Tbsp Agave - add per your preferred sweetness liking
Muddle Strawberries, agave, and a few basil leaves in a glass. Add water and lemon juice to the glass and stir well. Top off with a handful of ice. Stir gently, garnish with the last of the basil and enjoy!
Sparkling Blackberry Mint Mocktail
10 Blackberries
2-4 tsp Honey - add per your preferred sweetness liking
3-4 Mint Leaves
½ Lime
1 ¼ Cup Sparkling Water
Muddle blackberries, two torn up mint leaves, and honey in a glass.. Add in lime juice and stir. Top off with sparkling water and stir gently. Finish off with ice and garnish with remaining mint leaves. Enjoy!
Whether you're celebrating something special or simply enjoying a slow moment at home, these mocktail recipes are the perfect way to sip something beautiful—no alcohol required. I hope these ideas inspire you to get a little creative in the kitchen and elevate your everyday with flavors that feel just as festive as they are refreshing.
